Kitchens & Baths by Patricia Dunlop
specializes in Kitchen and Bath Design, with the majority of the work
being remodeling projects.
In April 2008, Patricia won second place in the NKBA/GE Dream Kitchen
Design Contest, a design competition with hundreds of entries from
across the United States and Canada. In 2005 she was the designer of the
Best Residential Interior over $100,000 in the NARI sponsored COTY
Regional Awards. Several of her kitchens have won other local and
regional design awards.
Patricia became a Certified Kitchen Designer in 2001 and a Certified
Bath Designer in 2008, having met the qualifications set by the National
Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) in terms of education, experience
and examination. One of the requirements of being a Certified Kitchen or
Bath Designer is continuing education, and the firm is committed to
being up to date and informed on all aspects of kitchen and bath design,
technology and products.
Prior to becoming involved in the Kitchen and Bath business, Patricia’s
previous experience was in commercial interiors and hotel design and
project management in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and North America.
Working on commercial kitchens and Five-Star hotel suites has enriched
Patricia’s residential kitchen and bathroom designs.
This rare combination of in-depth education and diverse experience
brings a unique perspective to your project. As an interior designer,
she is very aware of integrating your kitchen or bath with the
surrounding spaces. The experience of living in different countries and
cultures has broadened her understanding of how spaces can work
differently for different people. She is creative and practical; the
function of your space is as important as the look, and there are many
ways to achieve design impact without sacrificing functionality. She
approaches every project with sensitivity to your needs in regard to
lifestyle and level of investment and ensures that the final product
reflects your personal style.
Patricia Dunlop has a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and became a
professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers in
1997. She is active in several professional organizations and is
currently the Chapter Representative to the Board of the National
Kitchen and Bath Association. She is also a Past President of the
Intermountain Chapter of ASID.
Patricia is proud of her work as a Kitchen and Bath Designer and looks
forward to working with you to create an environment tailored to you
needs, tastes and resources.
